The Cailleach [kalli-ahk] is a Gaelic goddess, an old woman who personifies the forces of land, water, weather, and ancestors. She is said to have created mountains, springs, and lakes across the landscape in Scotland and Ireland. 

Through hypnotic vocals, Scottish smallpipes, guitars, live looping, and Gaelic language, this dark folk duo re-imagines the Cailleach in a new land.

This is music as truth-telling: to remember what has been forgotten, and hear what still speaks through the land.
